Top Secret Society

Top Secret, a Miami-based line of contemporary bras is a collaboration of sisters Andrea and Michelle Varat.  During a visit to Brazil, Michelle discovered the colorful bandeau tops many of the women casually wore under their clothing in lieu of a traditional bra. Impressed with the practicality and fashionable appeal of these tops, she went to work creating her own version with the help of the family garment business.  Today’s Top Secret line of bras and lingerie is influenced by the color and movement of the sisters’ native Miami and their family’s love affair with clothes.  From satin-sheen to lace-backed, these bras are meant to be exposed.  People, passion and a unique product are all ingredients to their “Top Secret” recipe.

Why we love:  Because we can finally wear all those ultra low cut tops in our closets, and get away with exposing our lingerie!

Elements by Jill Schwartz

While her design education from Cornell and Pratt gave her discipline, it was her travels through Europe in her early 20s that ignited Jill’s passion. Her love for shopping led her to bead stores, and her talent for putting them together in unique ways found her her first admirers as she travelled on trains. It was then she realized that she could be making money to buy her an extra day in Europe. That extra day turned into a year, and Elements/Jill Schwartz was born. While her mixture of unusual vintage and modern materials has evolved over the years, each piece is still unmistakably, inimitably “Jill.”

Why we love:   For her one-of-a-kind quirky and sweet vintage-inspired jewelry.
